Job Description
We are seeking Backend Developers with strong technical skills in either Golang or PHP (Laravel) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about building scalable backend systems, working with APIs, and solving complex problems in a collaborative Agile environment.
If you're a Golang developer, we’re especially looking for experience in PostgreSQL, API testing, and workflow orchestration (e.g., Apache Airflow).
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Golang or PHP (Laravel) based on your expertise.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and work with internal and third-party services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, product) in an Agile environment.
- Use tools such as Bitbucket, Postman, and Jira to manage code, tasks, and testing.
- Optimize database performance and ensure reliability (PostgreSQL focus for Golang roles).
- Participate in regular code reviews, standups, and sprint planning sessions.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver with minimal supervision.
Requirements
Requirements (Golang Focus):
- 2–3+ years of hands-on backend development experience with Golang.
- Proficient in PostgreSQL, with ability to write and optimize complex queries.
- Strong experience with Bitbucket (or similar Git-based version control tools).
- Comfortable with GoLand IDE and working independently on large projects.
- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
- Proficient in using Postman for testing RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with Jira for task tracking and team collaboration.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Requirements (PHP/Laravel Focus):
- 2–3+ years of backend development using PHP and Laravel framework.
- Familiarity with Git (e.g., Bitbucket), database systems (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and RESTful APIs.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and working in Agile teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
- Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Background working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP).
