Job Description
We are looking for a Back-end Engineer who will primarily support our mobile applications by building, integrating, and maintaining backend services. While the main focus of this role is backend development, you will also work closely with our mobile apps (iOS/Android) and should be comfortable collaborating on mobile-related integrations when needed.
This role works closely with the CEO on a daily basis and reports to the CTO remotely, requiring strong communication, adaptability, and ownership.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services to support iOS and Android applications
- Build and integrate APIs used by mobile applications
- Work with cloud infrastructure and backend services (AWS)
- Collaborate with mobile developers using React Native or Flutter
- Occasionally contribute to or troubleshoot Next.js backend code
- Ensure backend reliability, performance, and scalability
- Work closely with leadership to translate product needs into technical solutions
Requirements
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development
- Comfortable working with APIs and backend systems
- Familiarity with AWS and basic cloud infrastructure
- Understanding of how mobile apps (iOS/Android) interact with backend services
- Experience working with or supporting React Native or Flutter apps
- Has at least one published app on the App Store and/or Play Store (direct or team contribution)
- Based in Jakarta
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Comfortable working directly with leadership in a fast-paced environment
