Job Description
AVP Presales and Partnerships is a strategic leadership role responsible for leading the presales' function and managing technology alliances and strategic partnerships. This role drives solution design, customer engagement, and strategic collaboration with vendors, product, partners, and principles, strengthen the company’s value proposition and win rate.
Presales Leadership
- Lead and manage the presales team in developing customized IT solutions for clients across industries (infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, applications, etc.)
- Own the end-to-end presales lifecycle: requirement analysis, solution architecture, RFP/RFI response, demos, POCs, and technical presentations.
- Collaborate with Sales to understand client needs, craft win themes, and translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Ensure technical compliance, cost effectiveness, and value addition in proposed solutions.
Partnerships & Alliances
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify, build, and maintain strong partnerships with key technology vendors, service providers, and clients.
- Partnership Management: Negotiate, structure, and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships. Oversee the execution of partnership agreements, ensuring compliance and timely delivery of joint solutions.
- Maintain partner certifications, compliance, and technology alignment.
- Work closely with partners for training, enablement, pipeline generation, and solution co-development.
Solution Innovation & Enablement
- Solution Development: Lead the design and delivery of IT solutions tailored to client needs, leveraging internal and external resources.
- Solution Delivery: Oversee the customization and scaling of solutions to meet specific client requirements.
- Support internal enablement by training Sales and Delivery teams on new partner capabilities and solution frameworks.
Business and Market research
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative. Stay abreast of market trends, industry advancements, and competitor offerings to shape the company’s strategic direction.
- Problem Management: Overview the process in the company (business, product, operation) that focuses on identifying, analyzing, and resolving the root causes of incidents to prevent future issues and improve service reliability.
Requirements
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Tech, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Experience :
- 10+ years of experience in IT presales, solution architecture, solution development, partnership management, or a related field, with IT/Tech company as background experience.
- Proven track record of managing high-value proposals and strategic technology partnerships
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry landscape, emerging technologies, and business trends.
Soft skill :
- Strong experience with contract negotiation, partner management, and solution delivery.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners and clients.
