Job Description
We are looking for an Associate QA Engineer who is passionate about software quality and wants to grow into a skilled automation tester. In this role, you will start by building a strong foundation in manual testing, test case design, and bug discovery, while gradually taking part in test automation scripting and tooling as your skills progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing on web and/or mobile applications
- Design, execute, and maintain clear test cases and test scenarios
- Identify, document, and track bugs with solid reproduction steps
- Work closely with developers and product teams to validate fixes
- Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and product discussions to represent quality perspective
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and QA best practices
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to write structured bug reports and test scenarios
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong willingness to learn automation and new testing tools
