The Area Supervisor at MOP Beauty is a key member of the Business Development team, responsible for leading and overseeing the growth of General Trade (GT) customer acquisitions in assigned area. This field-based role focuses on driving network expansion, supervising distribution performance, and maintaining high-level relationships with strategic partners. You will be the point of contact for field execution, ensuring that sales strategies are translated into market dominance while maintaining alignment with the company’s broader business goals.
Job Descriptions:
- Lead and supervise the acquisition of new General Trade (GT) customers and outlets in the assigned region to ensure all sales and expansion targets are met.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key distributors, resellers, and retail partners to secure MOP Beauty’s market presence.
- Proactively manage distribution partner relationships to ensure consistent product availability, effective in-store promotions, and target achievement.
- Prepare regular sales performance reports, provide actionable market insights, and deliver accurate sales forecasts to the Head of Business Development.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Marketing and Operations, to ensure field activities are perfectly synced with national marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze new market opportunities continuously to optimize market penetration and stay ahead of local competitors.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Lead Generation, with a heavy focus on General Trade (GT) channels.
- Prior experience in the FMCG or Beauty industry (Personal Care/Skin Care) is highly preferred.
- Strong local network and in-depth knowledge of market conditions and consumer behavior in East Java.
- Target-oriented and comfortable working in the field; must be independent, proactive, and possess excellent presentation skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead discussions and close deals effectively.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned area to oversee field operations.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiar with sales management software/CRM.
- Result-oriented with a highly motivated mindset and a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Good proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a significant advantage.
