As an Area Sales Manager, you will:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in the Medan area.
- Manage and lead the sales team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve maximum performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners to enhance market presence.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure product availability aligns with demand in the area.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with promotional activities.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize results.
- Manage budget allocations for the area, ensuring efficient and effective resource utilization.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record in managing sales teams, preferably in FMCG or beauty industry.
- Deep knowledge of the Medan market and existing relationships with local distributors and retailers.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel within the Medan area as needed.
