Job Description
- Identify and qualify new vendors based on supply gaps, economic strategy, or capacity backup needs.
- Conduct cold outreach, vendor intro calls, and preliminary vetting (e.g., location, supply capacity, pricing).
- Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, SC, Portfolio, Pricing and Merchandise Team) to ensure smooth onboarding of approved vendors.
- Source and obtain new SKUs include performing competitive benchmarking to offline/online competitors prior onboarding.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in vendor acquisition, procurement, sourcing, or B2B sales—preferably in fresh produce, FMCG, or food supply chain.
- Proven track record of executing vendor acquisition and product onboarding processes end-to-end.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive communication skills.
- Highly execution-driven, fast-moving, and solutions-oriented.
- Team player who communicates well with internal stakeholders and external partners.
