As an Accounts Receivable Intern, you will:
- Support cash application - Match incoming payments to open invoices and flag unmatched items
- Prepare and format AR aging reports for the AR Lead and Finance Manager
- Send templated payment reminders for early-stage overdue invoices (1-30 days)
- Maintain customer master data (contacts, addresses, PO numbers) with specialist approval
- Scan, upload, and organize remittance advice, signed POs, and delivery confirmations
- Reconcile customer statements and prepare variance lists for specialist review
- Log customer disputes and queries in the tracking register
- Assist the team with documentation requests for month-end close and audits
Requirements
- Final-year student or fresh graduate in Accounting, Finance, or related major
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets (basic formulas, data entry)
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to handle repetitive tasks
- Good communication skills and willing to learn
- Able to work on-site and commit for internship duration
