About this role:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Accounting Tax Manager located in Jakarta. The Accounting Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing tax planning, tax compliance, and tax preparation. This role also involves managing financial statements and ensuring accurate tax filings. Day-to-day tasks include preparing tax documents, reviewing financial statements for tax implications, and liaising with external auditors and tax authorities.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure timely calculation and reporting of all relevant tax obligations, including:
- PPh 21 for employees, individual vendors, and partners
- PPh 23 for vendors and partners
- PPh 4(2) for UMKM and rental vendors/partners
- PPN
- PPh 25 badan
- Prepare, review, and submit monthly and annual tax returns (SPT Masa & SPT Tahunan) in compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct tax equalization (ekualisasi) for PPh and PPN.
- Create, issue, and manage tax withholding slips (bukti potong).
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to optimize company tax efficiency.
- Perform account reconciliation and upload/check bank reconciliations.
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and tax authorities to ensure compliance and address any tax-related issues.
- Provide analysis and recommendations on tax implications for business decisions and transactions.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant tax filings and financial reports.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Min. 3-5 years of experience in Tax Planning, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation
- Proficiency in managing Financial Statements and Tax Filings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Holds valid Indonesian tax certifications such as Brevet A & B (mandatory), with Brevet C preferred
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent) is considered an advantage
- Prior experience in the beauty or consumer goods industry is a plus
