Job Description
- Manage the end-to-end financial reporting process for all entities and consolidated financial statements, monthly and annually, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations, coordination with other department (if needed) and report deliverables preparation
- Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes
- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practises
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and the prevailing rules and regulations
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Analyse the effect of statutory accounting practises and studies regulations and guidance to ensure correct application of Indonesian GAAP and IFRS
- Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed
- Actively review and advise on financial/accounting processes
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting/auditing role with at least 2 years in supervisory role
- Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Accounting
- Big 4 accounting firm experience is preferred
- Proficient in Indonesian GAAP and IFRS
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Hands-on and solution-orientedProactive, self-driven, desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Demonstrated ability to gather and communication data logically, accurately, and concisely
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
- Understand the basics of the Indonesian tax calculation
