Job Description
- Bookkeeping: Accurately record and classify all financial transactions into the appropriate chart of accounts using accounting software or manual entry methods.
- Invoice Verification: Thoroughly review and verify all incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Accounts Payable Management: Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors while maintaining detailed records and reconciling discrepancies as needed.
- Financial Records Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other supporting documentation, to facilitate smooth audit processes and financial reporting.
- Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements, vendor statements, and other financial accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Data Integrity and Accuracy: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by performing regular data validation checks and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with external parties, to resolve invoicing issues and address inquiries in a timely manner.
- Compliance: Adhere to accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations in all bookkeeping and invoice verification activities, maintaining high standards of compliance and accuracy.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in bookkeeping and invoice verification workflows, suggesting and implementing enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field from reputable university with minimum GPA 3.00.
- Experienced ones are preferred, fresh graduates are welcomed.
- Able to work in a team/independent and under pressure.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- High willingness to learn.
- Familiar with accounting system, accounting principles and practices.
- Advanced Excel skills.
