About the Job:
The Account Manager at Baltini will play crucial role in overseeing all the tasks necessary to meet each suppliers needs and objectives. You will be responsible in supplier verification and evaluation, sales monitoring and coordination, supplier negotiation, support for Commercial Team, performance analysis and reporting. In this role, you will be working closely with our team in Italy, and must be willing to work from 12PM – 8PM (WIB), Monday to Friday.
Job Description:
Supplier Verification and Evaluation:
- Verify and evaluate suppliers based on their degree of reliability.
- Assess suppliers in relation to the commercial development needs of Baltini.
- Ensure suppliers meet Baltini's standards for quality, reliability, and performance.
Sales Monitoring and Coordination:
- Monitor and evaluate online sales with a focus on delivery times and marketability of products.
- Coordinate with the merchandising department and the commercial team to ensure optimal product availability and sales performance.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Support for Commercial Team:
- Assist the commercial team in implementing development plans and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with various departments to align strategies and achieve business goals.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed analyses and monitor supplier performances.
- Conduct monthly verification and reporting on supplier metrics.
- Present findings to senior management and suggest actionable improvements.
Supplier Negotiation:
- Negotiate purchase conditions with suppliers, including pricing, terms, and discounts.
- Ensure compliance with promotional activities and company policies.
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, supplier relations, or procurement within the fashion or retail industry.
- Previous experiences in the Fashion industry, particularly with foreign western companies, is mandatory.
- High interest for the Fashion & Luxury industry and trends.
- High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent excel skills as well as proficiency with the whole Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Word, etc).
- Proficiency in managing strategic conversations and negotiations. Capacity to thrive and perform effectively and calmly under pressure, especially with suppliers.
- Curious and fast learner.
- Proven track record in evaluating and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
