Job Vacancy: Backend Engineer (Node.js) Sentra Solusi Automa, an innovative company in the field of supply chain automation solutions, is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our development team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing server-side logic, building Automa APIs, and integrating with IoT devices. We are looking for individuals with strong technical skills and an interest in building scalable, reliable, and IoT-connected infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic using Node.js.
- Building and managing Automa APIs to control automation systems.
- Integrating IoT devices with the backend system through appropriate communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, WebSocket, etc.).
- Ensuring security and data protection in application development.
- Performing testing and debugging to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Optimizing application performance and handling scalability.
- Collaborating with the frontend development team and hardware developers to build integrated solutions.
- Monitoring and maintaining existing applications.
- Participating in code reviews and sharing knowledge with team members.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Proficiency in the JavaScript programming language.
- Experience in server-side development using Node.js.
- Knowledge of API creation and management.
- Familiarity with IoT device integration using communication protocols like MQTT, WebSocket.
- Understanding of security and data protection in a development environment.
- Knowledge of testing and debugging tools in the Node.js environment.
- Ability to optimize performance and handle application scalability.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Additional Advantages:
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.
- Experience with container and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of IoT technology and hardware integration.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools like Jest or Mocha.
- Understanding of DevOps concepts such as deployment and continuous integration.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
