Research Analysts (Market Research)
Location: Remote (Indonesia)
We are seeking a skilled Market Research Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in conducting comprehensive market research activities, including target segmentation analysis, market sizing, competitor analysis, and other in-depth research tasks. This role requires the ability to analyze and synthesize complex data, providing actionable insights on specific market topics. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively and fluently in business English, and fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep secondary/desktop research using various sources to gather data on specific topics.
- Perform quantitative market sizing exercises, including TAM/SAM/SOM estimations.
- Collect and organize data using Excel spreadsheets.
- Analyze data and present insights and recommendations in PowerPoint or Word documents.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and news (e.g., tech, sustainability, retail, finance)
- Participate in strategy discussions to develop research objectives and methodology.
- Meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- (Minimum 1 year) Proven experience in market research, with a portfolio of past research work.
- Excellent research skills, including the ability to conduct deep secondary research and gather data using various sources.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis.
- Ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent communication skills in business English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaboratively within a team.
- Communicate and collaborate with the latest digital tools (e.g., Slack, Google Suite, Notion, etc.)
