Job Description
Wilopo Cargo – Operations Team
At Wilopo Cargo, import operations are all about keeping things moving smoothly. As an Import Operations Associate, you’ll manage import documents, track shipments, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to make sure every cargo arrives accurately, compliantly, and right on schedule.
What You’ll Be Up To
- Manage import documentation and compliance, ensuring all paperwork (invoices, permits, clearance docs) is accurate and aligns with regulations.
- Coordinate and monitor cargo shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and follow-up with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate with internal teams (warehouse, finance) and external partners, resolving issues such as shipment delays, discrepancies, or damaged goods.
- Support cargo inventory management, working with the warehouse team to ensure accurate recording of goods upon arrival and dispatch.
- Contribute to operational improvements, by identifying bottlenecks and supporting process efficiency.
- [Nice to Have] Familiarity with HS Code classification and its role in ensuring smooth customs clearance is a strong advantage.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, International Business, Transportation, or other relevant fields.
- Fresh graduates are welcome. Having experience in import, logistics, or freight forwarding operations, or related roles (up to 1 years) is a plus.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work across teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and responsive in handling shipment-related tasks.
- Problem-solving mindset, especially in time-sensitive situations.
- Comfortable using tools for tracking shipments and managing documents.
- [Bonus] Experience or familiarity with HS Code classification or working alongside a PPJK-certified specialist is an advantage.
